While my wife and I were in Vernon last December for holidays (we go there often because we have family there, including our three precious grandsons) we traveled to Halcyon Hot Springs Resort and spent four lovely days there. The highway that takes you there requires a short ferry ride across Arrow Lake. I grabbed my camera and took some shots and this is the best one. This was taken on December 12, 2008.Amazingly, I did not use the Topaz Labs filters on this one, but I did use some adjustment layers in photoshop with levels, curves, hue/saturation and black and white to achieve the look I liked.
Shot specs: f5.6, 1/100 sec, ISO 100, 17-85 lens at 26 mm.
